Service Over Self

Service Over Self exists to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in underserved neighborhoods, through home repair and leadership development. SOS is a neighborhood restoration ministry that seeks to bring more of God’s shalom into their partner neighborhoods of Binghampton, The Heights, and Orange Mound through volunteer home-repair camps, job-training programs, and community development internships. get involved

Attend a week of volunteer home-repair camp in the summer (middle and high school students); participate in an alternative spring break or service trip (college students)
Chaperone students during volunteer home-repair service trips (adults)
Work at SOS during summer break (college students); join the SOS Academy (a paid, nine-month Christian community development residency program for young adults
