Mission Memphis Partners

Refugee Empowerment Program

Refugee Empowerment Program is a nonprofit organization serving refugees and immigrants. REP was founded in 2002 by a Sudanese refugee mother (and 2PC member) and remains the only ethnic community-based organization in the region. Their mission is to empower resettled refugees and immigrants in Memphis by offering high-quality, tailored programming that encourages, educates, and equips individuals, families, and the community. REP walks alongside their new neighbors as they integrate into American culture and work to achieve their personal and professional goals. REP serves 700+ individuals annually through a variety of specialized programming and services.
