Growing Place Library

Our mission is to offer the best in Christian literature and fiction for both adults and children. Subjects range from biblical study material, parenting and families, missions, marriage, theology, biographies and Christian living.

We offer this material in book form, CDs, and DVDs. We also have magazines covering a good cross-section of Christian and cultural subjects.  Please stop by and visit us! 

If you're not sure what to read, we have compiled a resource guide based on recommendations from pastors, staff, and leaders in the church. The list is organized by topic and includes the call number for where to find it in the library.

New this year: ADVENT BOOK CLUB

December 8, 15, and 22 at 5:30pm

Join us in the Library for a special Advent storytime featuring Jotham’s Journey: A Storybook for Advent. Aimed for children kindergarten-5th grade, families are encouraged to start the daily readings at home on December 1. Each week, we'll read a lesson, enjoy a snack, and share in the excitement of Christmas. Copies are available for checkout at the library or for purchase at the bookstore. We will conclude in time for Evening Worship.

Summer Fun!

Keep your eye out for more details about what will be going on in the Library in Summer 2025! See below about details from last year.

Camp Narnia: Children ages 7 and up are invited to Camp Narnia, an annual camp hosted by The Growing Place Library where we read aloud and discuss C.S. Lewis' classic tales on May 28-31, 2024 from 9:00-11:30am in Room C310. This year, we'll read Voyage of the Dawn Treader. There is no charge to attend, and books will be provided. Camp Narnia 2024 is full! Please email library@2pc.org to be added to the waitlist. 

Toddler Story Time: Bring your little ones to toddler story time hosted by the library, in room B101 on June 11, 18, 25 and July 16, 23 from 10-11am!

Middle Grade Book Club: Calling all middle grade readers (roughly ages 8-12)! The growing place will be hosting a book club just for you. We will meet on June 26 and July 31 from 2-3pm.
