Gospel Priorities Preaching Series

Service All Church Event

We’ll kick off the new year with our annual Gospel Priorities series. Beginning January 7, we will hear from guest pastors during morning and evening worship on themes related to and discussed in Luke 4 as Jesus begins His public ministry. Join us these Sundays for worship as we refocus on those things which Jesus made a priority in His ministry, that we might make them a priority in ours.

Guest pastors include:

January 7, 2024: Sean Boone
Pastor, The Bridge North County, Ferguson, MO

Sean Boone is a passionate and dedicated pastor with a heart for serving others. Born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, he experienced firsthand the challenges faced by underserved African-American communities, including addiction, abandonment, and abuse. These experiences led him down a path of gang involvement and drug dealing. However, through God's grace, Boone found redemption and turned his life around. After surrendering his life to Jesus, Boone was mentored and trained for a life of ministry at his family's church. He served as the Youth Pastor for four years before moving to St. Louis to become a Lead Pastor. Three years later, he felt called to church planting, a ministry that resonated with his passion for reaching people beyond traditional church walls. Boone is a Master of Divinity graduate pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry. He is married to his beloved wife, Taquella, and they have a blended family of five children and five grandchildren.

Emii in particular is an advocate of special needs ministry as Norah is on the autism spectrum. It was Emii who taught Joe that Norah isn’t someone to apologize for getting in the way of ministry.
