Nursery FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring in my child's bag?
Your child should bring a small bag with anything he/she would need during their visit with us. All bottles, pacifiers, loveys, or blankets should be labeled.

What if my child needs feeding while in the Nursery?
We will feed bottles that are pre-mixed by parents. This ensures that the correct amount of formula and water are used. We do not feed baby food and ask that meals are fed outside the Nursery area. On occasion, we will give saltines or Goldfish as a snack. There is a private nursing room available for nursing mothers.

Who will be allowed to pick up my child?
We ask that only adults pick up children using our claim check system.

What will my child do while at Sunday School?
Your child has a fun time learning different Bible stories each week from our curriculum. They will participate in music time, circle time, table-time and craft time, while learning basic biblical truths through story. These stories are also taught during the 8:15 am and 11:00 am service times.

What if my child gets sick or needs me while in the Nursery? We will text you from the provided number in the computer.  Please let us know if your phone number changes so that we can have current information on file.

How do I sign-up/register to be on the Nursery roll?
You may stop by any time the nursery is open and we can register your child. We can also register you at the time of worship or the event.

How can I volunteer in the Nursery?
We offer many options to fit your schedule. You may volunteer at the 8:15 am or 11:00 am services. Most of our volunteers choose to volunteer once a month. If you are interested, please download and return a completed application to the nursery office.
